These terms set out the basic conditions for reading One Last Cruise, sending a route tip to the desk, and asking about the monthly dispatch. They apply to the magazine as an independent editorial publication and to the material we publish across our pages.
What this magazine is
One Last Cruise is an independent editorial magazine about small-ship voyages, route notes and coastal port stories. The desk is run by former deck crew, port agents and travel editors based in Buenos Aires. The same material is published in English and Spanish. Coverage includes small-ship itineraries, shoulder-season departures, fjord and island crossings, river mouths, night ferries and stretches of open water between ports.
Route tips you send us
Readers can send a route tip or question through the contact form. Sending a message does not create a contractual relationship, a guarantee of a byline or a sponsored placement. We read what arrives, but we do not promise that a tip will be published, edited in a particular way or answered within a set period. Material you send should be your own account or clearly identify its source.
The monthly dispatch
The site refers to a monthly editorial dispatch containing route notes, port-day walks and cabin comparisons. The contact form can be used to ask about that dispatch, but submitting the form does not create or activate a subscription. If a separate sign-up mechanism is offered in the future, its conditions will be shown alongside that mechanism.
Editorial independence
The desk does not publish sponsored rankings or padded lists. Route notes and comparisons are prepared by our editors and contributors, and no operator controls inclusion. When an article draws on a reader tip, a port agent’s note or a crew member’s account, we identify that context where appropriate. Nothing on this site should be read as a booking service or a guarantee about any particular crossing.
Limits of what we publish
Our articles describe routes, seasons, cabin categories and port-day habits as we understand them at the time of writing. Timetables, port rules, daylight hours and ship layouts can change, and conditions on the day may differ from anything described. Nothing here is navigational or legal advice; readers should confirm operational details with the relevant source before travelling.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the magazine changes, for example when we add a new format or adjust how reader messages are received. The current version is the one published on this page. When a change directly affects how reader-submitted information is handled, we will update the related privacy information as well.
